Jessica Medoffis known for her versatility throughout all genres of music. From Bartók to Bacharach and back to Bernstein, Ms. Medoff impresses audiences throughout the United States with her style, charm and commitment to text and music. She is sought after not only for her impressive vocal allure, but also her unparalleled ability to bring characters to life. Heralded as a true singing actor, she is continually engaged to portray an impressive array of roles, both comedic and dramatic, and is sought after nationwide on both the operatic and musical theater stages. Upcoming engagements include a pops concert with the Ridgefield Symphony, Annie Oakley with the Las Cruces Symphony and Musetta in La bohème with El Paso Opera. Recently performed roles in her operatic repertoire include the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas, Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Judith in Bluebeard’s Castle, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Musetta in La bohème, Pocahontas’s Mother in the new work Pocahontas, and Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow. In her young career, she has already performed with Opera New Jersey, Opera Saratoga, Fresno Grand Opera, Mill City Summer Opera, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater, El Paso Opera, Natchez Music Festival, Ash Lawn Opera and the Aspen Opera Theater Center. On the concert stage, she has most recently sung female soloist in the Fauré Requiem in Carnegie Hall, Verdi’s Requiem in New Mexico, Ravel’s Chansons madécasses with the Luzerne Chamber Music Festival and Bernstein’s Mass for the Children in Carnegie Hall.
